Trial Delayed + Remember Timothy Dean

A quick update.

Ed Buck’s federal criminal trial has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic currently ravaging Los Angeles. Originally scheduled to begin on January 21, there is no date for the trial as of now with all jury trials currently being suspended. However, Buck will continue to remain behind bars--where he belongs.

Today is the two-year anniversary of the preventable death of Timothy Dean. We say preventable because if now-former Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey would have listened to us after the death of Gemmel Moore, Timothy Dean would be alive today. While we take comfort in the fact that today Ed Buck is in federal custody awaiting trial, nothing will bring back Timothy Dean to his family and friends who are once again mourning his loss.

They say that time heals everything, but we know that the pain of losing Timothy Dean is still real and hard for those who knew and loved him.

Today, we share in the grief of Timothy's family and friends and collectively mourn his death.

Finally, Happy New Year from Justice4Gemmel and All of Ed Buck’s Victims. We are looking forward to 2021 being the year that the victims of Ed Buck get some semblance of justice with his conviction for his crimes.

We’ll continue to keep you updated!

The struggle continues.
